Call for Late News

November 10 (JST), 2023:
Deadline for Late Breaking News Paper abstract submission

Abstract Submission

Abstract submission for Late Breaking News is now open!

We accept papers that present the latest research results as Late Breaking News (LBN) Papers. The objective of LBN is to provide participants with access to the latest information through the presentation of the latest and most important research results after the official lecture deadline of regular papers. Abstracts of LBN should be prepared in the same manner as regular papers. Poster Award applications will not be accepted.

  1. All abstracts must be written in English and must be submitted online in the same manner as for regular papers.
  2. Please use the abstract template (Microsoft Word), which must be converted into its PDF version for submission.
  3. Please select the symposium corresponding to your submission and the type of presentation (oral or poster). Please note that the number of oral presentations at the LBN is limited. The presentation time for oral presentations is short, and papers accepted for oral presentations are also requested to present posters.
  4. After successfully submitting your abstract, you will receive a submission confirmation by e-mail. Notification of acceptance or rejection of abstract will be made as soon as peer review is completed for each symposium. Please note that registration at the early bird rate ends September 30.
  5. Once the abstract is submitted, changes, corrections, or reuploading of the abstract are possible until the submission deadline. Any modifications requested after the deadline will not be accepted.
  6. Applications from presenters who have already applied for regular presentations will be accepted. However, the transfer of a regular presentation will not be accepted. The same content as a regular presentation is also not acceptable. Even if two regular presentations have already been accepted for regular papers, they will be accepted upon review. However, only one application as LBN will be accepted.
